Qualified as a solicitor progressing to Senior Partner in the practice he grew from one office to a five-office regional firm. Following invitation by major London chambers he transferred to the Bar. There he dealt with truly serious and complex fraud involving complex issues of mineral rights, company law obtaining an acquittal in a case valued at over £170 million. High Court Minority Shareholder disputes. Vessel total loss with life. (equivalent to manslaughter) Quietly drafting with care and complexity bespoke ships mortgages, ships covenants, FQA contracts and Shareholder Agreement.

But his home as always been in Devon by the sea and for decades he has quietly and privately provided inheritance tax advice, succession planning and complex Will planning.

A heavy weight for which law is his task and hobby. An LLM and MSc with distinction. Qualified Arbitrator, Mediator and Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association.
